Great Guana Cay

Great Guana Cay is approximately seven miles long with a spectacular beach on the ocean side that offers wonderful swimming, snorkeling and beachcombing. There is excellent fishing on the reefs and offshore. Bonefish abound in the shallow bays on the Sea of Abaco side of the cay.

Guana settlement is a village of colorful Bahamian homes, gift shops featuring local craftsmen and lovely tropical resorts and restaurants. Daily ferry service makes it easy to get here from Marsh Harbour. If you rent or own a boat, Guana's central location makes it a short ride to Treasure Cay, Green Turtle Cay, Man-O-War Cay or Elbow Cay.

Guana is home to Nippers Beach Bar & Grill - a great place to spend the afternoon. You can snorkel on the reef just 150' from shore, walk the beach, take a dip in the pool, get great food and drinks, and enjoy the best ocean view in the Bahamas! There is also fine & fun dining at the Blue Water Grill and Orchid Bay Marina.

Boating

Dock in front of property is jointly owned. It is a fixed (non floating) dock with ladders and a walkway to the front yard. The bottom is soft sand. Fisher's Bay accommodates large pleasure craft including sailboats. Larger vessels may anchor in the bay and use the dock for their dinghies. Approach Delia's Cay from the north as the southern passage has shallow spots.
